• A full-time regular 3/4-year diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
• OR B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks
• OR AMIE in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta
• Punjabi Knowledge: Must have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation level or equivalent

• All candidates except SC and PwD: INR 1,416/- (including GST and Bank Charges)
• Scheduled Caste & Persons with Disability: INR 885/- (including GST and Bank Charges)

Probation Period: 3 Years

• EWS: Income & Asset Certificate as per GoP instructions (valid for FY 2026-27)
• SC / BC: Certificate as per instructions of the concerned department of Govt. of Punjab
• XSM (Self): Ex-Servicemen Certificate issued by District Sainik Welfare Officer, Punjab
• XSM (Dependent): Lineal Descendant Certificate from District Sainik Welfare Officer, Punjab
• Freedom Fighter: Certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner of concerned district
• Sports Person: Sports Gradation Certificate issued by Director Sports Department, Punjab
• PWD: PWD Certificate with permanent disability issued by Civil Surgeon of Govt. of Punjab
