• Basic Pay: ₹35,400 per month (as per 7th Pay Commission)

  • SC/BC of Punjab: Up to 42 years
  • State/Central Govt Employees: Up to 45 years
  • PwD of Punjab: Up to 47 years
  • Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 40 years

• Educational: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Language: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.
• Technical: Must possess a 120-hour computer course certificate (ISO 9001 certified) or an 'O' Level certificate from DOEACC. (Exemption for BCA/B.Tech CS degree holders).

• General / Freedom Fighter / Sports: ₹1000
• SC / BC / EWS: ₹250
• Ex-Servicemen & Dependents: ₹200
• Physically Handicapped (PwD): ₹500
• Note: Candidates who applied under Advt. No. 14/2024 are exempt from paying the fee.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: MCQ-based offline test (OMR).
2. Document Verification: Final stage for qualifying candidates.

Exam Pattern

• Part A: Punjabi Language qualifying test (50 marks, 50% required to pass).
• Part B: Merit-based section covering GK, Reasoning, Math, English, Punjabi, ICT, and Punjab History/Culture.
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deduction in Part B.
