Complete Exam Timeline

4 Jun 2026 – 3 Jul 2026

Candidates must fill out the application via the SSO portal using One-Time Registration (OTR). Form correction can be done during the registration window and up to 10 days after the deadline by paying a fee of ₹500/-.

Objective-type screening test containing General Knowledge & General Science section. Maximum Marks: 200. Duration: 3 hours. Marks obtained will not be counted towards the final merit list. Exam date will be notified separately.

Descriptive and analytical written examination consisting of 4 compulsory papers (Paper I, II, III: General Studies, and Paper IV: General Hindi & General English). Total Marks: 800 (200 marks per paper). Candidates must score a minimum of 10% in each paper and 15% in aggregate to clear this stage.

Candidates clearing the Main exam will be called for the interview round which carries 100 marks. Assessment includes character, personality, physique, and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Salary Details

  • State Services (Level-14): Includes RAS, RPS, Accounts Service, State Insurance Service, Commercial Tax Service, Rural Development Service, etc. with a pay matrix level of L-14.
  • State Services (Level-12): Includes Cooperative Service, Transport Service, Industry Service, Tourism Service, etc. with a pay matrix level of L-12.
  • Subordinate Services (Level-11 / Level-10): Subordinate posts range between pay levels L-11 (e.g., Tehsildar Service, Industry Subordinate Service) and L-10 (e.g., Cooperative Subordinate, Excise Subordinate, Labor Welfare Subordinate).

Age Limit

As on 01.01.2027:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years (An additional 1-year relaxation is applicable to all categories as the previous advertisement was issued in 2024).
  • Non-Gazetted Employees: Minimum 25 years and Maximum 45 years.

Category-wise Upper Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Male candidates of Rajasthan: 5 years
  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Female candidates of Rajasthan: 10 years
  • General (UR) Female candidates: 5 years
  • Widows and Divorced Women: No upper age limit (Maximum age upto retirement age of 60 years).

Qualification Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Must hold a Graduate Degree from any recognized university incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Final Year Candidates: Candidates currently appearing or who have appeared in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing before the commencement of the Main Examination.

Application Fee

One-Time Registration (OTR) Fee structure:

  • General (UR) / OBC Creamy Layer / MBC Creamy Layer: ₹600/-
  • SC / ST / OBC Non-Creamy Layer / MBC Non-Creamy Layer / EWS / Sahariya: ₹400/-
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD): ₹400/-

Important Notes:

  • Candidates from outside Rajasthan will be treated as General Category and must pay ₹600/-.
  • Application form correction fee: ₹500/-
  • Absence Penalty (OTR Block Rule): If a candidate remains absent in 2 exam sessions within one financial year, their OTR will be blocked. Unblocking charges are ₹750/- for the first instance and ₹1500/- for subsequent instances.

Additional Details

OMR Marking Rules (5 Options)

  • Every question will feature 5 options (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
  • It is mandatory to darken one circle for every question. If you choose not to attempt a question, you must darken the 5th circle.
  • Failure to darken any circle will result in a deduction of 1/3rd marks for that question.
  • If a candidate fails to darken any circle in more than 10% of the questions, they will be disqualified from the examination.
  • An extra 10 minutes will be given at the end of the exam to ensure all questions have a marked circle.
